Theodore Kowalchyn, J.D.

Theodore “Ted” Kowalchyn brings over 26 years of financial consulting experience to Net Worth Management Group.  

Ted specializes in working in the higher education market and has established himself as a pivotal figure at local universities and colleges.   He consults with professors, faculty, and staff on their retirement plans and benefits, and helps them develop and execute a strategy unique to their individual objectives to help maximize their net worth.  Ted’s ability to be compassionate and connect with others has earned him the trust and admiration of his clients and peers.

Before joining the financial services industry, Ted worked at Exxon in 1980 where he was on the engineering staff and then in the law department.

Ted attended St. John Fisher University, University of Detroit, and Seton Hall Law School and earned degrees in biology, chemical engineering, and law.

Ted has achieved numerous personal and professional goals.  He is most proud of successfully passing the New Jersey and New York Bar Exams on his first attempt, owning several patents, and being a former caregiver to his parents.  In addition to being a history enthusiast, Ted enjoys hiking and volunteering at church.  For the past 30 years, he has resided in Scotch Plains, New Jersey.
